What You Really Want to Know
What should I tell you about myself? Isn’t that always the hardest subject to write about? Yourself? Of course with the internet they always tell you that you shouldn’t share too many personal details, but dang it! What does that leave then, lies? Fantasy and make believe?
Let’s see. I’m over thirty but under forty. I have four kids, one girl (oldest) and four, count them, FOUR boys! Yikes! Some days the testosterone in this house is so thick it’s hard to breathe. I’ve alwasy been an at-home mom, but up until the most recent edition, have done numerous volunteer gigs. We all live happily together and there is never any fighting. Ok, that is almost beyond fantasy and more like sci fi! Along with the kiddos and my Mr. Man, also comes Mother-in-Law, from here on in forever known to the blogging world as MIL. MIL and I can get along quite well, but we certainly have our issues as well.
Besides popping out kids, I do have other hobbies. I have done origami from time to time, crochetting, and occassionally a poem comes spilling out of me. I suppose I can add blogging onto that list now, eh? I like to cook a good meal and food is one the main ways I nuture my family. I am a chocoholic. I believe in Murphy’s Law and ‘that you get what you give’. Oh, and I’m Canadian.
Our happy little family lives on a farm outside of a smallish town in Northern Alberta. We raise a few cattle, the beef steak variety, and Mr. Man works full time teaching Heavy Equipment Technology at the local college. We have one dog, two cats and all animals live outside. My house is never completely clean as it is, nevermind pets to clean up after as well!
I think that is pretty well it as far as all about me. If there are any sickos trolling around who think they can now find me, I should also let you know that I’m a crack shot and all my kids, minus the baby, know how to shoot a gun as well. Friendlies, however, are always welcome.

I love it!

I have three boys and a girl. Oh, and hubby! I loved the testosterone is so think you can’t breathe! I feel that way! I thought we were more even when we got our girl cat but then we got a boy cat! One thing I’ve learned about boys is that it is in their nature to conquer and destroy! That’s where mom steps in!
; )
Conquer and destroy for sure! It’s the wrestling on the kitchen floor and under my feet that gets me! I can take control for now, but they are all growing so fast that they will soon be bigger than me, and then how do I pick them up by the scruff and kick them out?
